Canada is at a crucial point in terms of Open Access. How do we move from principles of open access to practice and implementation? How can we address implementation at a disciplinary, or institutional, or national level? What role can the social science and humanities community play in moving open access forward? In a series of three panels, this symposium will explore the foundations and developments of open access, the current state of dialogue, and new directions around politicizing open access in Canada.
